"Andhra Medical College is the sixth-oldest medical college, which is located on 25 acres of land. The college is affiliated with the NTR University of Health Sciences. Andhra Medical College has an excellent team of professionals. They admit 200 undergraduates, 176 postgraduates, and eight super-speciality trainees, along with numerous paramedical and health-related courses. They have six lecture halls, five halls with 250 seating capacity and one with 500 seating capacity. Andhra Medical College is well equipped with Intensive Care Units, Intensive Coronary Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, SICU, IRCU, and a Burns Unit. There is a fully equipped central research lab under the control of the Principal. The teaching hospital has more than 1,000 beds with nearly 100% indoor bed occupancy. There are well-maintained playgrounds and a gymnasium for staff and students.

Definitely one of the best college in India. Study with freedom. Nobody asks whether u studying or enjoying. U'll come to know what is life... Many places to relax... Beach, many restaurants, shopping malls, roadside foods, visiting places near by... One of the ancient medical Colleges in INDIA. Working at it's best. May be the work done is late coz patient overflow is more than medical staff. The medical seats also increased in the view of insufficiency. More clinical knowledge can be acquired rather than books. The faculty is very well talented. But u have to clear ur doubts. Nobody will force u to do any work. U should know what u should do. But never misuse the independence. Enjoy while studying. If u have an idea of skipping this college for another one's... Then it'll be a back drop for you. All the best.

I am Dr.Kv Janardanarao professional of surgery gimsr hospital Visakhapatnam recently i had to be admitted to Gitam hospital with fracture of 3 ankle bones Dr.Appalaraju Professor of Orthopedics wuth the kind approval of ProVcMS DrGitanjaliaBadmanabane has arranged for my treatment in the special ward despite it being a Sunday a 3D CT SCAN and all preliminary tests were done next morning internal fixation of the fractures with titanium implants under C.arm guidance was performed under the anesthetic management of dr.ganesh i was given normal diet same evening. The Nursing staff, operating room staff and supporting staff at the special ward were very efficient and polite. Mr. Manoj has coordinated all the departments well and made my stay at GIMSR very comfortable. Sustaining and injury had been unexpected and painful the treatment has been smooth and without complications i could relieve on my own institution under any circumstances and recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

I'm studying at gimsr medical College and the faculty there is super nice and respectful towards students and the patients. We have shifts from 9 to 12 at gimsr hospital and as we see the hospitality and house keepers keep it always clean. The food at canteen too is served very well. You'll love the cafe there too.

Excellent services are provided here and medical staff is also very good, responsive and helpful. Ambience is good, all areas are clean and hygiene. Emergency services are also very good.
