3 Best Non Veg Restaurants in Madurai, TN

Been to this place more than 10 times. There is no compromise in anything. Each and every-time they are consistent. Ive been visiting them before renovation and after renovation. The best of all is their Mutton Raan Mandi Briyani. Best place to Bring your family safely and to give them a perfect break. It will be very calm and peaceful. But it will be crowded during peak hours. So kindly pl plan accordingly so that the service wont get delayed.

Very neat and clean place to go out on a weekend and enjoy a delicious food. Good quality and quantity is justifiable. They have recently renovated the place and it looks perfect. Overall satisfactory.

Best place for dinning in Madurai. Abdul rauf sir recommend best dish,and he is very kind ,satisfied with food and his suggestions.

We had dinner here on our first day in Madurai, and what an amazing experience it was! The staff was extremely cordial and helpful in helping us choose the food from the menu, and the service was lightning-fast. We had Chicken Kari Dosa, Mutton Chukka and Crab Omelette. All of them were extremely delicious and are a must try when one is in the city. Parking is the only issue here as it's right on the Azhagar Kovil main road so it's better to come here via auto or some other non-personal form of transit.

The Meals along with those non veg gravies are itself a belly filler. Not to forget even the sambhar and rasam were finger licking good. In side dish took mutton chukka fry, Mutton Nalli fry. Special Amma mess chicken fry , Mutton Kola Urandai and Fish fry. Finger licking good. Missed out on the bone marrow omelette. Be early to have that. An old fellow serviced our table , he ensured we were fed as if we were in a family lunch. Not to miss while in Madurai.

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. 33years old restaurant- Amma mess. Food was good and freshly prepared . Quantity is huge . Staffs is also really friendly. Must try in Madurai .

I tried Prawns 65, Nethili Fry, Mutton Sukka, Idiyappam with Nalli Roast, Parotta, and Egg White Dosa at Konar Mess, and everything was beyond expectations! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour and perfectly cooked. The variety of gravies they served on the side was exceptional — each one had a distinct and unique taste. The service by Lakshmanan was excellent — attentive, friendly, and quick. Hello was also very polite and knowledgeable about the dishes, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, a must-visit for anyone who loves traditional South Indian non-veg food. Definitely going back soon.

Tried the mutton kari dosa and nenju kari at Simmakal Konar Kadai — absolutely delicious! The dosa was delicious with perfectly spiced mutton on top, and the nenju kari was rich and full of flavor. Simple place, but the taste is next level. A must-try if you’re in Madurai!

It’s one of the very old restaurant. We had to wait to get seats. We ordered curry dosa mutton and chicken which was very yummy. Then mutton chukka , kothu porotta. Taste was awesome.
