3 Best Sweet Shops in Madurai, TN

This is my First time trying North Indian Thaali.. I ordered through Zomato..The cost came around Rs350/- per person.. They served all the must have dishes in Thaali including Butter Naan,dal,Paneer Butter Masala,One sabji with green pea,Jeera rice,Papad,Kaara Boondi Raita,Sweet Lassi and finally a Rasagulla.. Worth the price.. The taste was good and very much filling for one person.. Packaging was also good. Must try Restaurant.

Captain Bala attended us in a warm way and served our dishes without any delay. We had a nice time here enjoying the veg delicacies. Jackfruit Baked Rasagulla is top- notch and we totally loved it. Great food as always Annapoorna Mithai.

Had a great experience with my family and friends. Food was awesome. Great time! Thanks to Mr.mohammed and Mr.bala for making the day a great.

We went therefore to statiate our desire for authentic South Indian food, delighted to try ghee masala dosa, rava kesari,pav bhai, the whole meal was in budget and definitely going back to this restaurant branch anywhere in the country.

One of the best places in Madurai to get hygenic food. I try their Dahi puri everytime I visit. It's a must try.

All facilities are well maintained. But the wash room is always crowded during peak hours.

Prema Vilas Sweet Stall is a wonderful place to enjoy authentic South Indian sweets. Their Tirunelveli Halwa is rich, flavorful, and truly lives up to its fame. The other Madurai sweets are equally delicious, made with quality ingredients and traditional taste. The shop is clean, service is quick, and the staff are polite. A must-visit spot for sweet lovers and anyone looking to take home genuine local sweets. Highly recommended.

I recently visited Prema Vilas and tasted the famous Tirunelveli halwa. It was served hot, fresh, and was absolutely delicious. One kilogram cost ₹400, and there were many other snacks available as well.

Finger licking good thirunalveli halwa here. The small portion wrapped in leaf is the one to take. Heads up, it's loaded with ghee and sweetness which might be too harsh, small portion would be good.
