He has several research achievements to his credit, which he has published and presented at various national and international conferences. Dr. Guruprasad has specialised in complex retinal detachment, retinopathy of prematurity, diabetic retinopathy, eye injuries, among other common diseases. His work has been recognised at national and international forums and duly awarded. Dr. Guruprasad has held several important posts as an office bearer in the Karnataka Ophthalmic and All India Ophthalmic Societies. He is the Director of Clinical Services and Head of M.M.
