“Dr. Alok Kulkarni is a Senior Consultant and Interventional Psychiatrist practising at the Manas Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Hubli, Karnataka. Dr. Alok Kulkarni has completed post-graduation in Psychiatry from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, an Institute of National Importance (INI), and the premier most institute in Asia for training in Psychiatry. Dr. Alok Kulkarni is a recipient of the prestigious IMH Marshall Fellowship Award instituted by The Centre for Excellence in Mood Disorders based at The University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Alok Kulkarni was inducted to become a full member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists of the United Kingdom based at London following his succesful clearance of the three part exam (MRCPsych) in his first attempt with high distinction. Dr. Alok Kulkarni's areas of clinical, academic and research interest include mood disorders, de-addiction and general adult psychiatry. Dr. Alok Kulkarni has significant experience in using interventional neurostimulation including transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
