The atmosphere is so calm. I would highly recommend everyone to visit the temple at least once, you will totally love the place.
It is a Shiva Temple located at the peacock island in the middle of the mighty river Brahmaputra. It was built by the Ahom King Gadhadhar Singha, who was a Devout Shivaite. It was known as the smallest inhabited riverine island in the world. The mountain on which the temple has been built is known as Bhasmacala. Ferry available to reach this island.
