PRAKASAM BARRAGE REVIEWS

Prakasam Barrage in Vijayawada is a massive structure built across the Krishna River. It not only supports irrigation and water supply but also serves as a road bridge, connecting different parts of the region. The view of the river and the barrage, especially at night when it's lit up, is breathtaking. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. The barrage also plays a vital role in the region's agriculture and economy.

Water flow down the barrage + colorful lightings + kanaka durga temple background = picturesque Prakasam barrage. Though traffic sounds irritate in the peak hours, it's worthy to walk along the barrage during evening times to feel the cool breeze. I personally love to sit in the sand and see barrage water flow and kanaka durga temple from seethanagaram side.

This place is truly lovely, and you'll find your body relaxing automatically. The serene atmosphere and peaceful surroundings make it an ideal destination to unwind and rejuvenate.

AKKANNA MADANNA CAVES REVIEWS

Our ancient ancestors created the Lord Madhanna Swamy Lingam in the Akkanna Madanna Caves. This cave is made up of a mandapa, a monolithic rock-cut hall, and cave sanctums located deep within the rock. They are made up of the lower cave and the upper main, bigger size cave complex. There is a small park to the north of the lower caverns. It has mutilated ruins that were retrieved from surrounding destroyed temples, as well as engraved pillars and a reconstructed inscribed granite mandapa.

They were visible to public after the renovation of the Indrakeerladri base as the part of 7 storied rajagopuram and mahamandapam. It depicts the significant and vivid history of Sathavahanas, vishnukundinulu kulikutubshahis and many more dynasties ruled this bezawada and the scriptures, sasanas about the bezawada and kanakadurga but neglected by the archeological department, kanakadurga temple and governments.

Akkanna Madonna caves are one of the oldest cave temples in vijayawada near to durga maa temple originally buddist caves later modified to hindu temple.. now they r under indian archeology protection.

Good place , good view of part of Vijayawada. But the bushes and trees need to trim a little to get the 360 degree view of surrounding from Gandhi hills . Over all it's perfect place I plan to go there and enjoy the lighting city of Vijayawada in the evening . Can see prakasham barrage from here and newly constructed br ambedker statue and all colourful homes lie on the waves of green mountains/hills can be viewed .

Excellent. Awesome view. We saw Durga Mandir, Prakasham Barrage, Vijaywada railway sation and another temple over a hill. Enjoyed the view during sunset. Lighting effect just after the sunset was mondblowing. The journey in troy train around Gandhi hill took us back to our child hood memories.

Wow ... you can c total city from here.... its looking awesome viwe... Vijayawada is full of mountain... U can c all mountain, river, railway station, play ground, Durga temple, prakasam bridge. Telescope view also available c surrounding area's from here it self.
