“Kasthuri Sreenivasan Art Gallery & Textile Museum has many valuable artworks, paintings and sculptures from Japan, China, Thailand, Egypt, Nigeria, Burma and Nepal. The gallery showcases traditional Indian Art, artworks of well-known modern artists, Mrs. Barbara Sreenivasan's thirty-six paintings & sculptures. There are paintings from various schools of European art, from Leonardo da Vinci to Picasso. In addition, they conduct workshops, training programmes and group shows. The art gallery is a relatively big and decent collection of Tanjore paintings, one more than a hundred years old. Moreover, there are one or two United Kingdom paintings too.”
