"Kasthuri Sreenivasan Art Gallery & Textile Museum has many valuable artworks, paintings and sculptures from Japan, China, Thailand, Egypt, Nigeria, Burma and Nepal. The gallery showcases traditional Indian Art, artworks of well-known modern artists, Mrs. Barbara Sreenivasan's thirty-six paintings & sculptures. There are paintings from various schools of European art, from Leonardo da Vinci to Picasso. In addition, they conduct workshops, training programmes and group shows. Happy to have such a calm and beautiful place in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Public can use this Gallery for many good useful purpose. A best place for kids and college students who are interested in art. Not just that, they have a good collection of very old artefact and paintings of many famous Indian and foreign artists. The textile museum is one of its kind in India. The management too is very supportive as well.

They had various collections of art, and all the paintings were so beautiful, especially the ground-floor paintings, I was accompanied by one of their employees and he explained most of the paintings and the stories behind them and it was very helpful to understand them better. They also had textile-related evolution scenes. Photography was not allowed. It was all clean and well-maintained.

This is a brilliant experience for anybody looking to enjoy a quiet time with music, great performers, and quality venue.

Quite a good collection of Tanjore paintings. IDK if the prices are reasonable. But i like their art work and service. Would definitely recommend.

When women conceive, friends and relatives give them a picture or an idol of Gopal. The photo was really awesome!
