"Arulmigu Marudhamalai Subramaniaswamy Temple is situated on the top of a granite hill, which is about 600 feet high. The temple was built in the 12th century and surrounded by various medicinal herbs. The temple provides a pleasant and serene destination to experience a tranquil ambience. "Arulmigu Patteeshwaraswamy Temple is believed to have been built in the 2nd century during the reign of Karikala Chola. The temple is situated 7 km west of the Noyyal River. This historic and elegant temple has garnered patronage from poets such as Arunagirinathar and Kachiappa Munivar. The temple is also named Kamadenupuri, Pattipuri, Adhipuri, and Daksha Kailasham. The temple also includes massive, diverse pillars with carvings depicting various manifestations of Lord Shiva. The holy place also has intricate wooden and stone carvings. Patteeshwaraswamy Temple is also known for the Kanaka Sthambha, showcasing an elaborate array of stone carvings. Arulmigu Patteeshwaraswamy Temple also houses a golden statue of Lord Shiva in the form of Nataraja. The temple features a dedicated Patti Vinayagar shrine honouring Ganesha. The Arasambalavanar Shrine pays homage to Shiva, where it is believed that Shiva performed his Ananda Thandavam under a peepul tree.
