Tamil Nadu Agriculture University is located in Coimbatore maintains this huge 300-acre botanical garden called the TNAU Botanical Garden. It has a large variety of roses, marigolds, chrysanthemums, carnations and lilies. The play of beautiful flowers in green bushes provides stunning views. There are so many varieties of plants & trees you can find there, and each species is labelled with its common name as well as scientific name. The garden covers over an area of 300 hectares and has some rare breeds of trees and flowers. They conduct plant/flower shows once a year (January month). TNAU Botanical Garden also maintain a nursery where visitors can get knowledge on plant growing techniques.

Anamalai Tiger Reserve is located in Pollachi, Coimbatore, a pristine 958.59 square km reserve of the tropical jungle. It is home to exotic, unique and endangered endemic species, including leopards and about 30 elusive tigers. Anamalai Tiger Reserve holds many populations of endangered species of fauna, Flora, and supports a healthy population of several endangered wild animals. Anamalai Tiger Reserve special and probably the only Tiger Reserve with diverse groups of indigenous people. It has an eco shop which is run by the EDC is functioning at Topslip.

Siruvani Waterfalls is located in Booluvampatti, Coimbatore. It is also known as Kovai Courtallam. Visitors can see that both the Kerala and Tamil architectural styles are the gateways at either side of the road across the dam. The dam was constructed for Tamil Nadu by the Kerala government to meet the drinking needs of Coimbatore. Siruvani Waterfallsprovides shelter to many tribes like Irulars and Mudugars. The falls are surrounded by the woodlands, which hold varieties of flora and fauna. Childrens can enjoy the playing area. Water from Siruvani is renowned for its taste and mineral properties, and the view from the falls and the dam is one of the great tourist attractions.
