The museum features a diverse selection of exhibitions, totalling around 550 pieces. With its distinctive ornamentation, the architectural structure stands as a landmark in the town, showcasing a range of art and artefacts, including sculptures. The museum building is an architectural masterpiece, featuring a Gothic roof, minarets, and an impressive red-shaded exterior adorned with stained glass windows and four massive watchtowers arranged in a specific colour pattern. It is renowned for its Indo-Saracenic design, blending Gothic elements with traditional Kerala, Mughal, Chinese, and Indian architectural styles.”

There is so much to see and learn, making it a truly enriching experience. It fills one with immense pride to witness the advanced knowledge and creativity of our ancestors. The museum is beautifully maintained, with a well-managed landscape surrounding the main building. Located in the heart of the city, it is easily accessible and close to other attractions like the Zoo, Legislative Assembly, and various food courts. A highly recommended visit for tourists and school-going children to explore and appreciate history!

Inside, you'll find an impressive collection of ancient artifacts, including bronze idols, intricate carvings, traditional Kerala ornaments, and historic textiles. The museum also showcases rare archaeological finds, offering a glimpse into the state’s fascinating history. Amazing experience. The zoo and museums amaze you the most. Amongst Raja Ravi Varma Paintings are the most adorable things I have seen. Worth every penny if you visit. Must visit places in trivendrum. It takes a complete whole day to finish the entire napier museum and zoo within. Overall experience is thrilled in every single stage.

Kerala Science and Technology Museum is an autonomous institution established by Government of Kerala in 1984. It is an autonomous institution established to inculcate the scientific nature in the minds of the youth to act as a dynamic medium of scientific communication to the public and inculcate a sense of inquiry. Kerala State Science and Technology Museum has around 10 galleries displaying more than 200 exhibits. Each gallery displays exhibits related to a particular area of science. There are separate galleries for electricals, electronics, mechanical, automobile and biomedical engineering. There is a separate gallery for Demography. Also, other galleries include solar energy, mathematics, computer science and space science. There ticket fares for various exhibitions such as planetarium, 3D Show, Science Sphere Show are not too expensive. The rate of adult ticket in Planetarium is 80, and science sphere show is 30, and 3D Show is 30. The show in Planetarium is comparatively good enough to watch. The rest of them were not up to my expectations. The galleries include various installations and experiments based on different scientific principles. This will help the students to understand the concept easily.

The exhibits were well-curated, educational, and engaging for all age groups. The highlight of my visit was the Planetarium show, which was truly mesmerizing. The visuals were stunning, and the presentation was both informative and captivating. Highly recommend visiting this museum for a fun and educational outing!

A must visit place for all the Science and space enthusiasts to explore the wonders of the universe. They offer stellar visuals, interactive exhibits, immersive shows and other educational programmes on various topics. It's indeed a treasure of the capital city. The planetarium has ample parking facilities and also a canteen inside its premises. However, better arrangements has to be made for crowd management to avoid prolonged wait time.

It had many fascinating exhibits with many historical things it was really interesting to see these things.It is also inside the Thiruvananthapuram zoo which make it easier to visit the 2 places.It contains a mix of wildlife,plants and geological things suck as rocks and more it also had historical exhibits and information about Indian culture.If you are in Thiruvananthapuram then you must visit this place.

Very informative and creative work is displayed here. Childrens will like this place a lot. Animals and Birds collections are very good. There are some skeletons and artworks displayed here as well. The interiors and animal sculptures on the walls are beautiful as well. The staff are also informative and kind.

Wonderful museum with many fascinating exhibits & displays. Highly recommend
