"Albatros Pool is a popular spot for both recreational and professional swimmers. Their qualified staff are always cooperative with the swimmers. Their well-experienced trainers provide excellent service to the swimmers. This is a 25-metre pool having a maximum depth of 5 feet and a minimum of 4 feet. A baby pool is also available. Children aged 8 years and above can use the pool. The pool is hygienic, with proper sterilisation, including a foot bath. They have a separate pool for the children's section. The water is clean and chlorine-free, making it healthier and more comfortable for swimmers. Albatros Pool also facilitates changing rooms and washrooms for swimmers.

2026 Update: Albatros Pool features a music system, UV filtration and H2O RO filtration system."

"Jimmy George Indoor Stadium is a perfect place to learn swimming for beginners as well as professionals. The pool was rebuilt to meet international standards and the technical specifications of FINA (International Swimming Federation) in 2015. The trainers provide instruction for different levels of swimming classes, including breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly. The pool is always clean and tidy for the swimmers' satisfaction. The pool size has been increased to 50m x 25m from 50m x 18m. The facility inspires both sportspeople and the general public to ensure that sports and fitness become a part of their daily lives. Jimmy George Indoor Stadium also hosts various sports, including badminton, volleyball, basketball, handball, table tennis, gymnastics, and taekwondo.

2026 Update: Jimmy George Indoor Stadium offers parking facilities for 100 four-wheelers and 150 two-wheelers."

The pool is well maintained along with good swimming classes. The instructors named Sunitha and Gopika are of great help. They make sure that each student receives the proper attention and training as per their caliber. Also the ladies section slot is amazing . I do hope that everyone tries this place as it provides relaxation to the mind and best workout similar to gym.

I've been thoroughly impressed with this swimming class! The facilities are neat, well-maintained, and provide a great environment for learning. The trainers, Sunitha and Gopika, are top-notch - friendly, approachable, and always willing to offer guidance and support. The ladies slot is of great convenience for me. Their expertise and enthusiasm make each session enjoyable and productive. Overall, I highly recommend this swimming class to anyone looking to learn or improve their swimming skills.

Have been going there since the past two months , it is very reasonable 150/- per hour . Google pay or upi payment is accepted . The trainers are very friendly and professional. There are different timeslots for each group - women only , women plus children , mixed etc . You can plan according to your convenience. There is a changing room with locker but the lockers don't have keys so I keep my valuables in the car . The changing room and shower area is clean and very well maintained . So happy that such a facility is available right in the heart of the city .

They have renovated this park to a beautiful place for children.. lots of activities.. the only con is that in addition to the entry ticket each ride requires another ticket.. little bit towards the expensive side. A coffee shop inside and an ice-cream parlour upstairs. Surroundings are also clean and atmosphere is calm.

Good place for relaxing and enjoying. Every day you can come and swim with daily 50 rs per head. You need to bring your swimming suit.

Located in a beautiful place gifted by the Nature and well maintained by the authority/public. Lot of fresh air in the surroundings, Good ambience!!

JIMMY GEORGE INDOOR STADIUM REVIEWS

the Jimmy George Stadium is named after Jimmy George, the first Indian volleyball player to become a professional, and considered to be one of the greatest volleyball players of all time. Currently it is known as Jimmy George Sports Hub. This spacious indoor arena can accommodate up to 2000 spectators and is equipped for being a practice venue for badminton and volleyball players. In addition to these, the stadium also offers facilities for playing basketball and handball, and training in gymnastics and taekwondo. The swimming pool facility in the hub is one of the top facilities in the entire district. The Hub is currently operated by Sports Kerala Foundation along with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Kerala. The Facility has a dedicated parking space for 100 four-wheelers and 150 two-wheelers.

Well maintained 50 m swimming pool accessible to public. Changing rooms are clean and ample in number. Rates per hour: 110 for kids, 140 for adults. You need to go at the start of a batch time.

Good place for badminton and swimming. To avoid the crowd you should take the best slot... Possibly 1st in the morning or late at night.
