Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur is known as Shibpur Engineering College, which is located near the Botanical Garden area. The college is also located near Shalimar station. The distance of the college from 2nd Hoogly Bridge is 15 minutes only by bus. This college has huge campus. The placement of the college is also good. The selection criteria of this college is through JEE Mains.

Amazing campus of this institution. There is more than one entry gate. It is a very old college. It was called the BESU. The building was quite old. It is full of green gardens. This institution is just beside Shibpur Botanical Ganrden and Shalimar railway station.

IIEST was India's one of the oldest Engineering College, very prestigious Institution. Known as Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur or BE College.

MCKVIE is an UGC recognised Autonomous Institute, accredited by NAAC with Grade 'A' and approved by AICTE. It is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal and offers NBA accredited programmes. The institute offers bachelor's and master's degrees in various engineering streams as well as in management studies. B.Tech Students are admitted through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination WBJEE, Joint Entrance Examination and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It had been selected for a TEQIP grant by the World Bank[1] and also accredited by National Board of Accreditation.[2][3][4] Also accredited by NAAC 'A' grade. The institute is located in Liluah, Howrah, West Bengal, India

This is certainly the best private engineering college in Howrah. It is NAAC accredited and A rated college in whole of West Bengal. Most of the departments also have NBA accreditation. This certainly speaks volume on the quality of education in this college. You also get amazing research scope as a student in this college and this certainly gives a boost to your career. In campus placement is also pretty good. Cultural and Technical Events are also very frequent. Overall the college life is fun.

It's one of the leading engineering college of West bengal at Liluah in Howrah. It's now an autonomous institute ("A" grade by NAAC)affiliated to WBUT. The college gives quality education. Here all the faculty members are very helpful. The college has a very good infrastructure and well equiped laboratories...It is a very good choice for tje students who are willing to build their career in the technical field.

I am a second year student and i have to say this College is very impressive . The mechanical department has all the facilities for both Btech and diploma . It has a well equipped mechanical design lab which provides AUTOCAD , CATIA and MATLAB facilities , the workshop here is also very well equipped . The faculty strength of our department is more than just adequate , they not only provide theoretical and practical knowledge but also advance classes for the preparation for various government exams and interviews . This College has all kinds of perks .

Overall a good college in West Bengal.I am from CSE department and It was a good experience. teacher students relationship is good.they will help you in your difficult situations.The campus area is big and peaceful.It is a completely ragging free college.
