I have been a regular member of this library for many years. Issue books regularly. The collection of books in this century-old library is old and new. You can see it by visiting the catalog section of the website. Nominal monthly subscription. The use of librarians is also very sincere. Various cultural events are also organized. Book haat is organized every year on Saraswati Puja, famous writers come, new books can be bought at good discount.

Very olden days name is related to this place. It one one of the most famous libraries in Howrah. Besides , this place is nicely running a pre primary school by the same name. Very good place with energetic ambience.

It is a peaceful library located on the banks of Hooghly river. It has a wonderful collection of books. The best part is one need not obtain membership to read books here. The reading room is open for all.
